In this class, Jackie will be sharing her love and skill in working with beautiful paper, ephemera, stencils, stamps, beads, wire, boxes of quotes, words, pictures, glue and so much more. Jackie works with collage on a regular basis and is enthusiastic about sharing the process that informs our inner artist. The most desirable skill to bring to the class will be a willingness to dive in and experience the magic of the process. Jackie Amatucci has been a mixed media artist for over 10 years. She also is a potter, jewelry maker, basket maker and seamstress. She loves sharing her skills and delights in supporting others to make their own masterpieces. Jackie is co-founder of Create Space Langley. As a high school teacher for 30 years, her love of teaching and learning has never waned. Jackie was a teaching artist at Power of Hope Teen Camps for many years. She currently is a mentor and teaching artist for Seattle-based Young Women Empowered. She regularly taught sewing, mixed media art, and jewelry making at Create Space Langley prior to the covid shut down.
