July-Drawing with Sarah with Sara Halpern Thursdays, July 18, 10am to noon Requested donation: $10 for this one-time session Materials will be available to buy from Sarah at the class Please donate the $10 before or at the first class. You can donate by credit card through the donate button on our website: createspacelangley.org. Or you can pay by cash or check made out to Partners for Youth Empowerment. Place in the donations jar in our classroom. If you are unable to afford the full fee, please donate as you are able. Your donations ensure the future of create space. This one-time class is only for people who have already taken a class with Sarah. We will meet outdoors (weather permitting) or at another designated spot. Sarah will also be leading a one-session class in August for continuing students (soon to be posted). Sarah Halpern has worked as a designer all of her adult life, creating designs for museums, toy companies and theme parks. She earned her BFA from the University of Washington and her MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In addition to working as a designer she has taught Design and Technical Illustration at college level and worked for many years as an Artist In Residence at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She recently returned “home” to the Pacific Northwest and has been participating in local figure drawing workshops here on Whidbey Island. She is very excited to be part of Create Space Langley.
