Drawing Outside with Sarah Halpern Thursday, June 18 10:30 am - 12:30 pm THIS CLASS IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE TAKEN A CLASS WITH SARAH The Thursday drawing group is moving outside for the summer. We will meet once a month and take advantage of the warm weather and good light to draw what we see around us. We can can work landscapes, gardens, trees, buildings, beaches etc. This Thursday drawing group is open to anyone who has taken drawing 101 from Sarah. Please be sure to sign up so that you will get the email with the location information. It will change each month. Sarah Halpern has worked as a designer all of her adult life, creating designs for museums, toy companies and theme parks. She earned her BFA from the University of Washington and her MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In addition to working as a designer she has taught Design and Technical Illustration at college level and worked for many years as an Artist In Residence at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She recently returned “home” to the Pacific Northwest and has been participating in local figure drawing workshops here on Whidbey Island. She is very excited to be part of Create Space Langley.
