Creative Arts Party: Telling Our Stories
with Peggy Taylor and Jackie Amatucci
Available spots
Service Description
Friday, September 24 7-9:00 PM Cost: $10 It’s more fun than watching tv, more active than going to a movie, cheaper than dining out. Join us for an evening of community story telling. We will use a tried and true process that makes it easy to find your stories and share them in small groups. You'll likely have a chance to share with the whole group as well if you wish. You don’t need any experience with storytelling or even believe that you have any stories worth telling to have a great time. The Creative Arts Party will be facilitated to make you feel safe and supported. You can expect to leave feeling joyful with your worries lifted from your shoulders. Ready to join in the magic? Peggy Taylor is co-founder of Create Space. She is a writer, choral director and creativity specialist. She has trained several thousand social service workers in ten countries in ways to use the arts to increase confidence in their creativity and to bring cohesion, joy, and purpose into work with youth and adult groups. Jackie Amatucci is cofounder of Create Space. She has been a mixed media artist for over 10 years. She also is a potter, jewelry maker, basket maker and seamstress. She loves sharing her skills and delights in supporting others to make their own masterpieces.
