Collage Blessing Books Mondays 1-4 June 1, 8 & 15 Cost $50 plus $5 materials fee to instructor Using collage materials, mark making with inks and paints, fabrics, ribbon and anything that strikes your fancy, we will learn to make small books filled with pictures and symbols that you can give to bless friends and family with joyful messages. Blessing Books make treasured gifts that celebrate transitions, birthdays, anniversaries and special events of all sorts. They bring solace and build strength to someone facing a life challenge. They celebrate special relationships. Blessing Books are works of art that let your friends or family members know they are deeply cherished. This class will draw out your unique sense of style, playfulness and creative wonder. Jackie Amatucci is a skilled collage artist who loves to create intuitively. She provides an atmosphere of fun, joy and creative possibility. Come PLAY! Jackie Amatucci has been a mixed media artist for over 10 years. She also is a potter, jewelry maker, basket maker and seamstress. She loves sharing her skills and delights in supporting others to make their own masterpieces. Jackie is co-founder of Create Space Langley. As a high school teacher for 30 years, her love of teaching and learning has never waned. Jackie was a teaching artist at Power of Hope Teen Camps for many years. She currently is a mentor and teaching artist for Seattle-based Young Women Empowered. She regularly taught sewing, mixed media art, and jewelry making at Create Space Langley prior to the covid shut down. To pay on-line, click "class fees" button at the top of our website.
