Service Description

Blooming Botanicals Thursdays, August 7 & 14, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm Do you love the beauty of botanicals, enjoy experimenting with gel printing, and want to deepen your artistic voice? This workshop goes beyond printing—it's about transforming your prints into richly layered botanical collages. You’ll learn which botanicals make the most beautiful prints (and why), how to build depth through layering, and how to use your prints as the foundation for expressive, multi-layered collage work. Most of all, this workshop is about following what draws you in—what you love—and using that as a guide to create something truly your own. You’ll leave with at least two finished botanical collages. Beginners and experienced collage artists are welcome. Hannah Klaus Hunter is a Langley-based artist who works with monoprinting, collage, and botanicals from the surrounding landscape to create layered paper compositions that draw attention to the natural world. Her work has been exhibited widely across the United States and internationally and is held in numerous major hospital collections. You can find her work at hannahklaushunter.com and on Instagram @hkhunterarts.
