Kristi O’Donnell’s 'Paint with Paper' invites you into the creative flow and to have fun. Using vibrant papers, your hands and originality, you will learn how to allow the art muse to join in and experience joy. Your new-found skills will be transformed into artworks, greeting cards, luminaries, garden art, and bookmarks and applied to making whimsical yet useful items. Kristi uses the principles of Heart Math, which is based on breathing, and taking imaginary walks to help you relax and dive into the creative zone. This sets the stage for inventiveness. She also infuses laughter and storytelling into the class giving you the chance to share your first steps and your successes.

Basic materials will be provided. Children and youth are invited to this class. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Kristi O’Donnell is a multi-media artist who has been teaching and creating beauty on Whidbey Island for 30 years. Her pallet consists of graphic arts, sculpture, horticultural arts, and performance music on the upright bass. You can visit her on her website: www.kristio.com
