After leading several very successful bookmaking classes at Create Space, Claudia Fuller is now going to teach two new ways to make exquisite journals for water color, writing, scrapbooking and other purposes in two separate classes. In this class Claudia will teach how to make journals using the Spring Flower Binding. Some previous experience with bookmaking is required. You need to know how to make signatures (sets of paper) for a journal. If you have taken a previous class with Claudia, you will be prepared for this class.  Claudia teaches with a clarity and enthusiasm that makes learning new skills very easy. These books can be made with any type of paper with card stock, watercolor paper, thick handmade paper, leather, and maybe even felt for covers.

Claudia Fuller is a mixed media artist who has always enjoyed creating artful items. Ten years ago, she made her first book and hasn’t stopped since. She makes books for gifts and she makes books to fill with her art making. She uses watercolor papers, book board and book cloth for some journals and recycled boxes and cardboard for others. Filling books with painting, calligraphy, quotes and memorys is how she documents her life.
