Contemplayful Singing

Contemplayful singing mingles contemplation and play in the act of vocal co-creation. Contemplayful singers generate a resonance of voices, hearts and minds while singing deep and simple songs together. We enjoy the interplay of structure and spontaneity, joyful expression and deep listening. Ukuleles, body percussion and improvisation enrich our exploration. All voices and ears are welcome in this game of co-enchantment.

Facilitators Cleo Keller, Craig Green and Adrian Green are a family of singing activists. We are embarked upon a song sowing pilgrimage across the country. We are the creators of "The Contemplayful Songbook" and the co-founders of the Woodfolk House of Song, an intentional community and musical sanctuary in Charlottesville VA.
