One Step at a Time

Do you want to help young people who are facing challenges while using your sewing and knitting skills? We’ve started a community of makers who are creating blankets for children in need. We are currently making blankets for kids detained at our Southern border and for several different organizations on Whidbey Island. Experience is not necessary because we are willing to teach you to knit, sew, crochet, and quilt.  If you can’t or don’t want to make blankets but still want to help, we need donations for shipping costs and delivery people who can take the blankets to CADA and CASA. For more information contact Luanne Seymour (luanneseymour@comcast.net) or Darcy Sinclair (darcysinclair@me.com).
